Rex
We had a wonderful stay at this place with 4 comfortable single beds and it was in a perfect location within walking distance of everything we needed.
-
Noel
The room was brand-new & warm with 4 comfortable single beds, a fan, as for instance. The location was unbeatable and great, within a close distance from Jukebox Museum. Moreover, the area was good.
Don’t have any issues at all.

Derek
The location was perfect and within walking distance to bars and restaurants, and the restaurant served delicious evening meals with amazing dishes.

We stayed at this hotel because of its American connections thinking it would have the same cutomer courtesy, cleanliness standards etc.We came to view one particular War Grave and for no other reason. We were 4 first cousins traveling together.
Beds were very uncomfortable, single size and definately not made for adults! mattress kept moving off of the box spring while one slept until you just tipped onto the floor....4 adults in my party 2 to each room and we all had the same problem. Rooms 106 and 101. Walk in showers were great and what we needed . Staff were friendly but not enough on hand. Had a feeling we were locked in/out at night after 11pm ? I given a # to use front door otherwise it was never open oused. It led right onto the front street, no use to the smoker in our group who wanted a cigarette in the night!

This hotel was a great value for money and proved to be a comfortable and convenient choice for visiting the Christmas markets of Brussels & Lille. The rooms were spacious, clean, and equipped with basic amenities. The location was excellent, with easy access to the town center and local bars, making it convenient to explore the area and enjoy the local nightlife. Additionally, the staff provided friendly and attentive service, adding to the overall positive experience.
All was good, nothing to complain about

Family room was spacious, large bathroom
The breakfast was very disappointing, bread and pain-au-chocolat were quite stale, sausages sat in barely luke warm water - all in all not very appetising.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the value for money. The prices were incredibly affordable, especially considering the attention to detail in the rooms. The staff provided excellent service and were very friendly and helpful. The basic amenities were all in place, and the rooms were equipped with four comfortable single beds. Additionally, the hotel's location was convenient for exploring the nearby WW1 areas, as well as being close to the Christmas markets of Brussels and Lille.
The only minor downside was the bathroom, which could use some improvement.

Our room was great, very large with a sunken jacuszzi bath. Breakfast was very nice too
A long walk into the centre to look for a restaurant, particularly as it was raining. Hotel is a bit out of the way.

This hotel is situated perfectly for those wanting to visit the WW1 sites. it's located near all of the sites as well as the Christmas markets of Brussels & Lille. Although all of the restaurants in the area shut after 7 pm, the hotel breakfast provides a range of options. However, the hotel staff were the highlight of my stay, and they were very informative and helpful.
The hotel WiFi connection was quite poor and unreliable.

The location was ideal for the activities & trips we carried out during our stay. You don't need to stop in Ypres to get the best out of the Flanders area. Also the staff were friendly and helpful espically Sophie who was more than helpful, enabling us to get more out of our stay than we probably would have done without her help (a genuine person). She went beyond what you would expect given that she was on her own most of the time. Not an overly fancy hotel, clean & good value for money, The free secure parking was an added bonus

On arrival the reception member of staff was extremely friendly and helpful, which gave a great first impression. The room was very nice and comfortable. The facilities were very good. The location of hotel was ideal for our trip. The breakfast choice and quality was okay. Sleep quality was very good, no noise or disturbances during the night or in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.
There could have been slightly more choice of breakfast. Especially for hot food.

Mary
The location was easy near the town centre or local restaurants and the staff here was very amiable. In the evening we went to De Sterre, located within walking distance of the hotel.
-
Gerald
The family room was a good size and clean. The breakfast offered a selection of hot and cold food. The hotel is located in a quiet area with easily accessible transportation.
The decor was dated and needed redecoration. The hotel bar lacked atmosphere and was quite expensive.

The hotel is bright and clean and the staff friendly. Rooms are large and beds are comfortable. Bathroom is clean and well appointed. Breakfast buffet has plenty of everything - particularly enjoyed the dried and fresh fruit selection and the meat and cheeses were fresh and tasty.
